A brand new lightweight insulated jacket, built for mountain missions where every gramme counts. Thorlak is a remarkably warm, windproof and water-resistant jacket, with a lightweight and packable focus.
For reliable warmth even when wet, we body-mapped synthetic Thermolite® insulation and wrapped it in a mechanical stretch, windproof, rip-stop outer, complete with a DWR finish. A powerful and dynamic mix beneath a clean, minimalist aesthetic.
Features include a new barely-there stretch hood band for under-helmet comfort, elasticated hood aperture with front peak, harness-compatible fleece-lined pockets, a secure chest and internal pocket, plus Jöttnar’s anti-snag hem cords, technical stretch cuffs and YKK® zips.

This jacket was perfect for my trip 2 week mountaineering adventure to the Swiss Alps. Travelling from the UK by public transport, carrying all my gear in my 40 litre rucksack, and summiting some 4000'ers. It was just what I needed.
Lightweight, a great colour that didn't absorb the sun, kept me warm when the cold wind blew, able to fit my helmet underneath the hood, loads of useful pockets and packed away really small.
This jacket is stylish and toasty warm. Fits perfectly. Very pleased with it
....for that extra layer without needing a big jacket. Great for cool but not cold times...and excellent for walking around in

This is a very lightweight nicely fitting jacket. Weighs hardly anything. Pockets in all the right places - including the all-important outer breast pocket so useful for mobile phone. Fits nicely - freedom to move arms in all directions. Long enough sleeves so no gapping.
Makes a really useful layer under a cagoule for waterproofing - and not too bulky so fits easily.
Amazingly windproof even in really cold North of Scotland February winds.
I think I'll be wearing this one all year!
