Men's Fleece & Mid Layer Jackets

Lightweight technical fleece:

Eldar. Octa® fleece uses a hollow-core fibre construction that traps warm air without adding weight and wicks moisture away from the skin, so it regulates more responsively than standard pile. Three versions:

• Full zip: 100% recycled Octa®, with a close-fitting under-helmet hood, harness and rucksack compatible hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket.
• Half zip: a mid layer hooded jacket for light layering under a shell, with a fitted hood and malleable peak, a mid-length two-way front zip for venting, and thumb loops.
• Quarter zip: collared, with raglan sleeves for range of movement, a dipped back hem and a chest pocket. Layer it or wear it on its own.

Active insulation:

Asger. A Polartec® Alpha™ fleece lining behind a windproof, 100% recycled ripstop outer. It regulates temperature as effort rises and falls.

• Asger HS jacket: Bureo® NetPlus® outer woven from recycled fishing nets, harness-compatible hand pockets, chest pocket and articulated sleeves.
• Asger Hooded jacket: a hooded mid layer with a close-fitting peaked hood, aperture adjusters, articulated sleeves and a 40gsm double-ripstop outer.
• Asger gilet: 186g, with no sleeves or hood, keeping warmth at the core and your arms free.

Everyday technical fleece:

Njorunn. A two-tone marl knit face over a lofted, brushed interior, with excellent warmth for its weight. The full zip has two mesh-lined YKK® zipped hand pockets, and the quarter zip has a deep venting chest zip. Both have abrasion-resistant seams, stretch-bound cuffs and hem, and a regular fit with articulated patterning, updated for 2026.

Which mid layers have a hood?

The Eldar full zip (close-fitting under-helmet hood), the Eldar half zip hoody (fitted hood with malleable peak) and the Asger Hooded jacket (peaked hood with aperture adjusters).

Which mid layers work with a climbing harness?

The Eldar full zip has harness and rucksack compatible hand pockets. The Asger HS jacket and Asger gilet also have harness-compatible and rucksack compatible hand pockets.

Can a fleece be worn as a base layer?

Full zip or quarter zip?

A full zip gives the most venting and is easier to put on and take off over other layers. A quarter or half zip carries less hardware and suits pulling on over a base layer.
