Men's Polartec® Alpha™ Jacket

Perfect jacket for hard work in autumn and spring, and great for layering in winter. Keeps the wind out and dries so quickly. I really like that this version has no hood.

I have 2 of these jackets and they are brilliant. Far superior to my Arcteryx items.

Big fan of Jottnar products but some consistency in sizes across the range would be much appreciated. Jacket fits very small and I had to go a size up, could’ve even gone up two sizes dependant on whether using as mid layer or pull on sweater. Not used in the wild yet where I hope brand quality will prevail but it does seem very flimsy and not worth the premium paid compared to their other products I have purchased

I am lucky enough to have a selection of Jottnar’s great gear, love it all! The Asger is such a versatile item, and has been my go to mid and top layer for the last 18 months. I bought two when I could! I recently bought the Asger HS in the same size (M) but found the fit quite a bit smaller than the hooded version, so had to go up a size. The fit isn’t as good for me, but there again, I’m not built like a Royal … It’s well made, light, packable and just as warm. Shame the sizing has changed, otherwise it would be a five star. Don’t be put off, just try it and get the size that fits, you won’t regret it. Customer service is fantastic too.

A great product, great quality and very lightweight, good to go in your rucksack when you don’t need it right away.
I did initially go for a medium but ended up sending back for a large, no hassle, and large is a good fit, not too snug but not too big.
Definitely recommend this jacket.
