The Asger is a fantastic versatile piece of kit, performs well on its own when active with good breathability and just the right amount of warmth when moving in cool / cold weather due to the polartec alpha lining. Hope Jottnar bring back the black colour and the hood less HS version too. This dark blue colour is nice though. Delivery from Jottnar was quick and efficient too as always

The only jacket you need

Have had this for 2 years and it’s faultless. Wear with a base, mid layer and you will be fine. Super light. Not a climber etc so can’t comment on performance up on high. Superb. 5 stars.

Superb item

PolarTec Alpha is a phenomenal textile. Dry to skin, fast wicking, and warm when wet. Combined with a well designed, technical windproof outer and you have a very very versatile jacket for stop-start, high intensity activity. This is a beauty. Am looking forward to taking it on the hill.

Asger Jacket

Great jacket - just done a week on Dartmoor and a couple of other shorter excursions and it's been in my bag the entire time. Squashes down to a small size and is super lightweight so easy to carry but is surprisingly windproof and warm once on. Great to stick on during rest stops, belays or when the colder wind picks up. Another quality Jottnar product.
