A LIGHTLY INSULATED, VERSATILE JACKET BUILT WITH POLARTEC® ALPHA® FLEECE
A technically sophisticated jacket, with a windproof, water repellent outer and a Polartec® Alpha® inner. The perfect balance of warmth and breathability.
Developed for Special Forces, Polartec® Alpha® is an active air-exchange insulation system for temperature variations and stop-start conditions. Delivering consistent warmth and breathability, Alpha® releases excess body heat before saturation and discomfort.
Layer under a hard shell for regulated warmth when active, or wear as a standalone over a base layer. An athletic fit, stretch cuffs, harness compatible pockets, and an adjustable hood enhance performance and functionality.

I have had the men's version of this jacket for a while and love it and so just bought this one for the missus as she was looking to 'acquire' mine. Super versatile jacket that is amazingly warm and windproof given how light it is and how small it packs down. Often in my pack for adding a layer during breaks in activity, belays etc. Thoroughly recommended.
Super lightweight and beautiful colour, this jacket impressed from the start. I plan to use it for Paddleboarding to keep me warm throughout winter. The jacket was perfect as a light outer layer to fend off the Autumn breeze. And I look forward to using it as a mid layer in winter. Only wish would be for thumb holes so the arms would extend over the top of my hands, but doesn’t affect performance of jacket.

My first Jottnar order I have found the sizing a little strange I’ve had to exchange this jacket for a large and then when I ordered a large in a different jacket it was absolutely enormous so that’s gone back to exchange for a medium!
Other than that can’t fault the gear.
