Named from the Old Norse for wolf, Ulfr is a winter-grade merino neck gaiter born for winter’s worst. Made for extreme alpine use, mountain sports, and everyday cold-weather protection, it brings wild warmth, natural performance, and zero-compromise comfort.
Built from the ground up, Ulfr’s fabric is exclusive to Jöttnar. Designed, developed, and dialled to our exact specification. The result is a bespoke merino blend engineered for all-mountain use: a honeycomb-structured double knit that traps warm air, wicks sweat, and shields from cold. Core-spun merino provides natural insulation, while technical polyesters-including PBT-add strength, stretch, and rapid drying. The result: wild-grade warmth, tailored by us.
Its double-layer knit offers plush, itch-free comfort against the skin, while minimal seams reduce bulk and irritation under layers. Fully fashioned construction provides a precision finish with zero waste.
A jacquard tonal Mjolnir logo adds a quiet mark of intent. Light at 62g and strong in warmth, Ulfr is a neck piece so soft you’ll forget its power until it's called upon.
