Men's 4-Season Softshell Pant
HIGH PERFORMANCE TECHNICAL SOFTSHELL PANT FOR MIXED CONDITIONS
Valen 4S is a durable, technical and lightly insulated softshell pant built for climbing and mountaineering in mixed conditions. Based on the popular Valens, the 4S variant features Kevlar™ instep protectors, a toughened grade of softshell fabric, zipped vent at the ankle to accommodate approach shoes, mountain or touring boots, as well as braces, a thigh pocket and a secure integrated waist belt.
The articulated patterning, 4-way stretch and gusseted crotch provide excellent freedom of movement. Lightweight sueded pocket liners help with hand warmth on colder days and the Durable Water Repellent finish protects against light showers. Each cuff features twin eyelets for optional stirrup attachment as well as a low-profile internal drawcord for cinching.

Superb quality
Best hiking pants I’ve ever had
Had these for a few months but haven’t got to use them with the hot weather! This weekend as it was going to be drizzling rain all day and lower temps I thought I would get them out for their first run! I really like how flexible and stretchy they were without having lots of excess material on the legs. The pockets are good and positioned well to work with a harness. Extremely comfortable for all day and even when wet they remained warm.

Absolutely the best pants I’ve ever had. The Kevlar inset is awesome! Like the previous review they are extremely warm for a relatively light weight pair of pants.
Great trousers, snug without being tight & sizing guide was thankfully accurate. Tried out on a windy day in the Lakes starting close to zero & finishing at 15 Deg. Never aware of legs being cold & neither did they get too warm, a perfect result.
