Men’s Hooded Hybrid Insulated Jacket

Floyen lineage has always embodied versatile, synthetic warmth for the cold - this new evolution pushes further. Stronger against the wind. Warmer where it counts. Lighter in weight. And still built with top-tier features for superb mountain performance.

A year-round hooded powerhouse for cold, mixed alpine conditions. Its synthetic body-mapped insulation holds warmth with lasting loft, even when wet. Boasting a new, fully insulated design, wrapped in highly durable Pertex® Quantum 50D quadruple ripstop recycled nylon with a PFC-free DWR finish – all without sacrificing packability. It shrugs off spindrift, wind chill, and sudden showers. Perfect for climbers and skiers chasing light, weather-resistant warmth.

A close-fitting under-helmet hood, fleece-lined hand pockets, and anti-snag drawcords are tuned for rucksack and harness use. Technical stretch cuffs seal warmth. Internal and external pockets, all insulated, secure essentials without compromise.

Named after Fløyen, Bergen’s sentinel peak and one of its famed Seven Mountains, standing guard above Norway’s icy fjords.

The next step in a lineage built for alpine cold.

Expected ship date Wednesday, 1st October.

Fabulous

Light weight however incredibly warm. I’m 6 feet tall 75kg average build and size medium fits beautifully. Lots of useful pockets. Overall very happy with my purchase

Good, but...

The jacket fulfills its porpuse keeping you warm in normal cold conditions. However, by the price, I was expecting a higher quality. Zips feel low quality, and seams across the jacket are very unregular. Note: Jacket's cut comes a little tight on the back.

My second Floyen

I love this jacket. I previously had the hoodless version and it was great but this one is just the next level. The warmth of this range of jacket is second to none and it really does keep out the wind too. The pockets are lovely and deep and very warm and the zips make them safe to store things in.
The hood is a great fit to your head and turns when you turn your head so you get full vision at all times instead of looking at the inside of your hood, like you do with other jackets, when you turn your head.
A phenomenal mid layer below the Odin hard shell.
Would have no hesitation to recommend the Floyen range be it hooded or hood less.
Fantastic quality and easily the best customer service I have ever dealt with.

Light and warm

Was looking for a jacket to keep in my ski touring pack to put on for transitions and food stops. Haven't used in earnest yet but fits the bill. A good balance of weight and warmth. I may end up keeping it on for moving when the weather is poor. That seems to be most of the time in Scotland!

Good quality

It is incredibly warm for such a lightweight jacket. Quality and style are very good. I would have liked to have more colour options but I'm very happy with my purchase.
