Men's Hardshell Jacket

Lightweight, waterproof hardshell balancing storm protection with enhanced breathability for active use.

Just 420g, Midgard claims the sweet spot between stripped-back minimalism and protection. 3-layer Pertex® Shield Pro fabric, with dynamic breathability through an advanced microporous membrane. A 40D recycled nylon face and PFC-free DWR finish bring durability, protection, and responsible sourcing.

Helmet-compatible hood with laminated peak, glove-adjustable cords, two-way pit zips, YKK® AquaGuard® VISLON® zips with an internal storm gasket, and Hypalon® cuff tabs with triple reinforced VELCRO™.

Large chest and hand pockets are accessible under a pack or harness. Innner valuables pocket secures essentials. Jöttnar's signature anti-snag drawcords avoid gear tangling. The articulated cut sits over a mid or baselayer, with a dropped rear hem for extended coverage.

Super light (420g), fully waterproof and breathable, built like a tank with Pertex Shield Pro. Quality is top-tier.
The hood is the standout: best I’ve ever used – stiff brim, perfect fit, works flawlessly with or without a helmet.
Everything just works: zips, pockets, cut. Zero compromises.
Easily 5/5. One of the finest jackets I’ve owned and I have had many as good if not better than Arc’teryx – stoked every time I wear it.

Fantastic jacket

Ok its expensive, but it feels the best waterproof shell I have ever had. I have a lot of Jottnar kit, this is just the same brilliant quality as the rest. Really pleased with this.

This is the jacket I’ve been waiting for from Jottnar and it does not disappoint. Perfect for a wet and windy week fell walking and scrambling. Great protection and features as always from Jottnar, excellent fit, worth the wait. Bravo!!
