Versatile ripstop softshell shorts for multi-activity use. Built from lightweight, tough, ripstop four-way stretch fabric for breathability, comfort and mobility.
A soft-touch interior backer enhances comfort. Integrated low-profile waist adjustors ensure a secure fit. Two inset pockets and two cargo pockets with mesh lined ventilation. An additional rear zipped pocket gives further storage.

I bought these after buying a pair of the long leg trousers made of the same material and they are instant favourites. The material is a great combination of flexibility and durability that makes them a perfect short.
So shorts arrived after having to exchange them for a small. The sizing as others have said seems to come a size up. My last shorts were a medium so ordered the same size but were much too big. The small size are perfect. Morgan was very helpful particularly as Evri never ever delivered the replacement pair and also never answered my emails regarding delivery. Morgan arranged for another sent DHL which arrived promptly. All in all though great clothing from Jottnar as always. Keep up the good work !!
I absolutely loved these shorts, they were the best quality ones I have ever owned (I now own 2 pairs!) but yes, definitely on the larger side so if you're a 33/34 waist, just get a medium and you'll be beyond fine. The main issue I've had is that when tightening the belt strap built-in, the original sewing just completely snapped off clean. I am currently having a family member repair them for me but was surprised it happened in the first place considering Jottnar's usually quality after only being worn on maybe 10 occasions... again, brilliant shorts but a few learning curves to be made from them. Don't hesitate however... they really are awesome beyond that!
Purchased a large (I'm usually a 33-34 inch waist) thinking these would size similarly to last year's LEIF shorts. I was wrong; they were massive around the waist – so I returned for a medium. First impressions: great for technical pursuits – addressed the main issue with the LEIF short (shallow pocket depth) – but I prefer the feel and fit of the LEIF (personal preference).
Received my order today , tried previously to order but out of stock ,I’m gradually building up a good collection of Jottnar products I’m 55 years old , tried many brands as most have but I’m so happy with these shorts. Yes they are out of a lot of people’s budget but quality wise they are fantastic and the belt system I’ve never experience before , they fit perfect for a medium , I’m 5”7 weighing in at 13.5 stone and the fit is perfect !! Keep the quality coming !
