The Torv trouser's shorter sibling; the same character, built for warmer weather. For tough days that go long. Equally at home, everyday, off the hill.

Built on the same blended cotton construction as the Torv trouser, waxed and finished with a PFC-free DWR finish to repel light rain. Reinforced double-layer seat and twin-needle stitching throughout. A short that improves with use.

Chest/Bust

With the tape under your armpit, measure across fullest part and across shoulder blades.

Waist

Measure around natural waistline at the narrowest part.

Low Hip

Measure around the widest part of the hip bones.

Inside leg

In a standing position, measure from top of inside leg at crotch to ankle bone.

Use & Highlights

When to use — Trekking, travel and everyday wear in warm weather or mixed conditions where durability matters more than minimum weight. Equally at home in an alpine village as on the trail, with a clean, considered fit for off-mountain wear without sacrificing function on it.

Waxed cotton-blend; what it does — The waxed and DWR-finished fabric sheds wind, dirt and light rain. Unlike technical softshell, this waxed cotton-blend improves with wear and can be re-waxed to restore full performance over the life of the short.

Versus the Sunnan and Bjarg shorts — The Torv Short is heavier and more structured with sturdier fabric, reinforced seat, and more storage. Choose the Sunnan or Bjarg for output; choose the Torv Short for durability and character.

Reinforcement — Double-layer reinforced seat and twin-needle stitching throughout. Long lasting and built for sustained use.

Pockets — Six pockets: two hip hand pockets for everyday access; two large bellow pockets for bulkier items; one zipped thigh pocket; one zipped rear pocket for security. More storage than a standard trekking short.

Waist — More fitted waist than the Sunnan with heavy-duty belt loops for an optional belt.
