Beautiful jacket

This is the most beautiful mountain jacket I've ever owned. The cut is absolutely perfect for those who prefer a slim fit and the fabric is super soft and has the perfect amount of stretch while moving about. I'm 5'9", with a 39 chest and the small fit like a glove, with enough room for a thin down coat underneath to layer against the cold. Breathability is amazing and it beads water nicely in a drizzle - though it doesn't hold up under constant rain or heavy downpour. Overall, it's definitely the most stylish and comfortable bit of mountain kit I've ever owned and performs beautifully on the trail and in the city.

Nearly Perfect

The quality and finish is superb as with all Jottnar’s clothing. Breathability is good and the fabric has a nice degree of stretch. For my body shape the fit wasn’t consistent with other Jottnar pieces I own, the Asger and Floyen. The Sigvard is narrower across the shoulders and forearms which caused the sleeves to ride up when reaching for hand holds. I found this out too late to exchange so, if you have broad shoulder’s, I would recommend buying the next size up from your normal size. Fit through the torso is trim and pocket positioning perfect. Usual Jottnar attention to detail make this a really nice soft shell to own.
