Men's Technical Waxed Trekking Trousers
A durable waxed trouser, built rugged for off-grid trails, refined enough for everyday wear.
Features include pre-shaped knees and articulated patterning, press-stud/elasticated ankle adjusters, and hidden internal boot hooks. Low-profile elastic and Velcro waist adjustors tighten on-the-fly for a stretch-comfort fit. Its seven pockets include dual map-sized thigh pockets.
Weather resistant and tough. A PFC-free DWR and wax finish sees off showers, and double-layer knee and seat reinforcements give long-term durability.

Have a few Jottnar jackets which I love but these trousers were a bit disappointing; especially given the price. The fit is OK although they are a bit long in an XL (and I am 6' 1'') but, for me, you'd need thermal leggings underneath if it was at all cold (although at least they a roomy enough to allow for that).
Just received my Svend windshell by courier and on opening the package I was stunned. Wow!!! The quality, stitching and finish is superb. Then I tried it on and I was totally sold. Perfect fit and it feels like a top of the line bit of kit. Absolutely no regrets on spending the money on this. Will be saving up to buy more Jottnar.
Bought as a present it enable my husband to store maps in the front pockets making them easily accessible. Good fit great quality, not tried in the rain but it won’t be long and will come into their own on our next adventure on the West Highland Way.
The fjallraven Keb is a strong competitor to these - only thing is the Jottnar trousers aren’t as fitted/slim which I love. Plenty of room to adjust all over the trousers and they fit the upper legs and buttocks brilliantly. When I’ve been using them for winter climbing, I would say that the flexibility isn’t quite there in the more difficult positions.
For the price they are expensive but I understand now that Jottnar as a brand are excellent, so if there are any issues they get resolved with the customer is mind unlike some of the other name brands.
FYI I’m 6ft with a 30” waist and the M are perhaps a touch too big on waist but the waist adjusters help with that.
I wish I knew these were getting 25% off as I bought them full price the other week!!!
