Jottnar Thorne 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely love this Jottnar Thorne jacket . Fits true to sizing charts , I’m 5’8’’ weight 10 stone , 42 inch chest and broad shoulders so I ordered a medium and it fits great . I already have a black Fenrir and wanted a second jacket in blue so opted for the Thorne in Eclipse colour so that I didn’t have 2 jackets exactly the same. The Thorne was definitely of interest because it has the tougher outer shell ripstock material . It has a superb cut , beautiful detailing and positioning of the zips, especially love the outer vertical breast pocket , really handy for quick access. The down filling is incredibly warm , and the hood offers great wind /rain protection. It’s not designed to be waterproof but more like showerproof which it does exceptionally well . The cuffs are elasticated perfectly, all round love this jacket ,and so light and easy to pack into its stuff bag to throw into a back pack .

Excellent jacket.

The Thorne jacket is well made, light and very warm. The elasticated hood was a concern but it works very well indeed. The fit is good and, overall, I am exceptionally pleased with my purchase.

The best down jacket I've owned

This is the best down jacket I've owned, and I am absolutely delighted with it. It is warm without being too warm, and after around a fortnight of daily use, I can't fault it. The design is just sublime, with all the extra touches, such as hydrophobic down, cuffs and so on, all contributing to the excellence of the product. My only gripe is the length it took to deliver it.

Awesome but if kit

Had it over a month. Been in constant use in the Pyrenees and the Alps. Probably the warmest layer I own. Packs small enough for back country adventures, and is a fabulous colour. 5/5
