A HYDROPHOBIC GOOSE DOWN JACKET FOR COLD CONDITIONS
The revised Thorsen is a hoodless, collared version of the famous Fenrir. A richly featured and highly technical down jacket, Thorsen is designed for further weight saving and for those who prefer no hood. Stuffed with 850 Fill Power goose down, in a premium 93/7 down/feather ratio for an excellent warmth to weight ratio. A water repellent micro rip-stop face fabric resists moisture, and potential wet-out zones at the cuffs, collar and underarm contain synthetic insulation. The Thorsen also features stretch technical cuffs, an internal valuables pocket, snag-free hem adjusters and is supplied with its own stuff sack for easy carriage.
Our water-repellent down from DownTek™ stays dry 10x longer than untreated down. Unlike inferior versions, our water repellency won’t wash out and is free of harmful fluorocarbons. Our ethical approach to down sourcing complies with the Responsible Down Standard.

Totally recommend
I’ve been down on the coast trying out the layering with Thorsen and Magni. It’s great. Soft, lite and so warm. No sweat and I love the lightness. It’s gives a sense of freedom. Await the merino beanie.
Jacket is XL so didn’t want too tight a fit. Await more cold weather. Great new brand for me to add to other favourites: VivoBarefoot, Elliot Brown and Nomatic.
A Very light and super comfortable warm jacket. It Fits really well too, practically custom made. Completely delighted with purchase.
I recently bought the Thorsen jacket in large and found it to be a perfect fit since I don't intend to wear any layers beneath other than a t-shirt. I'm 6ft 3", 95kg, broad shoulders with athletic build. The description says it is a "standard fit" but for my build it is more of a trim/fitted fit which suits me fine.
The technical stretch cuffs - which are very similar to Arcteryx Atom LT (and old SV) cuffs - are also a nice detail to prevent loss of heat.
I also bought the Fenrir large but returned it since it felt a little too tight across the shoulders.
If you want a quality down jacket which is incredibly warm and comfortable then look no further than the Thorsen jacket.
This is my first purchase from Jottnar but it won't be my last!
