I was a little put off by the price but decided to give this light weight hoody a try.
It has quickly become my favourite fleece, very warm for the wieght. I wear it all the time now.
I'll certainly be looking to purchase from Jöttnar again.
Firstly to make this review as useful as possible for others, I am a smidge over 6 feet 2 inches tall and a smidge over 12 stones with an athletic build and I purchased a size medium.
Positives - nice quality material - warm - arm length perfect - body length fine - 2 side pockets and 1 inside pocket a very nice addition , I own similar tops from the competition and none have pockets - fit is snug which it should be but not in any way over tight or restrictive - so far feels well constructed.
Negatives - it is not worth the high price tag (but what is these days) - the made in China thing is always a little bug bear of mine especially given the high price tag. In conclusion I really like it and have decided to order a technical base layer and will review this once received.
Loving the Magni Lx - super lightweight & stretchy. Great over a base layer for cold runs or as a mid-layer in harsher conditions.
Recently purchased this lightweight fleece as part of my layer system when on the hills. Good bit of kit but the arms are a bit long on the medium and I have arms like an orangutan too. That aside it is a warm fleece.
I originally wanted the Magni. I have one of these already which I love, however I received the LX. Totally different. Very lightweight and fine for a mid layer underneath a Florence or another outer garment. Fits well but not as warm as a Magni which is super warm even in Winter.
