My first purchase from Jottnar and I’m impressed. I particularly like the slim fit and easy layering the top offers. I’ve used as a mid layer on some cold walks and as a top layer for travel on trains and flights. The low pack volume was great when I arrived in a warmer climate. Excellent quality and the thumb loops are a nice addition. The neck line is good and when zipped up means I don’t need to carry a buff to prevent draughts. A possible improvement would be the additional of pit zips.

Bought this specific for the Montane Spine Challenger South race in mid January to make up part of my layering for the 2+ day run..

Sizing info XL vs L

I am 6' 2", 225lbs, 45" chest, 37" waist. I have extra long arms, I've been compared to a gibbon with arms outstretched, which was useful when I
used to play rugby (2nd row, line out jumper) but otherwise are just a frustration because shirt and jacket sleeves are usually too short on me.

I ordered the MAGNI HS XL size but it's too big for me, not a good fit. The sleeves bunch up around my wrists even when my thumbs are through the
thumb loops. There is loose material around my body which bunches up around my ribs and waist.

I suppose it's my perennial problem of being too big for L size clothes and too small for XL. The product is good quality and felt warm when I tried it on,
however I've not "field tested" it out on mountain hikes, which is the reason I purchased it.

I've returned it, wanted to order an L size instead but unfortunately that is showing as out of stock on the Jottnar website. Hope this info on sizing is useful for other customers.

Bought as a Christmas present

My son is ex army and loves jottnar so I always treat him at Xmas and birthday it did take longer for it to arrive and I was concerned that he wouldn’t get it before his trip to Patagonia - that’s why 4 stars - always great quality but bit annoyed as I could of bought it cheaper earlier in the year even with the 20% discount - did try to contact Jottnar to ask but couldn’t find a way to contact them???
