ANNA WELLS | JÖTTNAR Pro Team
MOUNTAINEER | CLIMBER
As a kid I discovered a love for indoor climbing, allured by the combination of gymnastic movement and problem solving. This grew into a passion for mountaineering and alpinism, and particularly a love for moving fast over technical terrain in beautiful landscapes.
I've sumitted fifty-five 4,000m alpine peaks, including several fast-and-light style single day ascents, as well as speedy traverses of the Cuillin Ridge in both summer and winter. My first love remains rock climbing and I'm equally happy in a dusty gym or glorious mountain crag.
Three years ago I left my career as a doctor, and after a couple of years living in the French Alps, have returned to my roots in the Scottish Highlands. I work full time as a Climbing and Mountaineering Instructor, privileged to help others realise their potential and fall in love with mountain adventures.
Anna operates Rocks and Trails, a rock climbing and mountain guiding company based in the Scottish Highlands.
