Women's 4-Season Softshell Pant

HIGH PERFORMANCE TECHNICAL SOFTSHELL PANT FOR MIXED CONDITIONS

Valen 4S is a durable, technical and lightly insulated softshell pant built for climbing and mountaineering in mixed conditions. Based on the popular Valens, the new 4S variant features Kevlar™ instep protectors, a toughened grade of softshell fabric, zipped vent at the ankle to accommodate approach shoes, mountain or touring boots, as well as braces, a thigh pocket and a secure integrated waist belt.

The articulated patterning, 4-way stretch and gusseted crotch provide excellent freedom of movement. Lightweight sueded pocket liners help with hand warmth on colder days and the Durable Water Repellent finish protects against light showers. Each cuff features twin eyelets for optional stirrup attachment as well as a low-profile internal drawcord for cinching.

Best Trousers I Own

These are the absolute best trousers I own for walking and climbing.
They keep legs warm and dry - they are shower proof but also perform well on river crossings and in high winds. All the features and finishing touches are super high quality. For example, the soft lined waistband and soft lined pockets. The belt area is built into the trousers which looks very smart and tidy. The belt is a great design, very easy to do-up/undo and tighten/loosen on the go. These trousers are super stretchy so perfect for climbing and never fall down/move even with a harness full of gear on top. The vented ankle area is excellent for switching between bigger and small shoes so you always have a good fit. I really like the reinforced inner ankle area as well. So far it’s been great for mud/rock but I imagine it would be excellent when wearing crampons. The branding is gorgeous - they look so smart. I like that they are tight fitting because they don’t move around/ get in the way. Overall, very well designed.

Good fit, but come up small

I’m normally a medium but that was a bit tight on me. The shape was much better than the regular trousers and seem nice and durable. High quality with good finishing touches and nice branding.
